Bordeaux 2013: Winemakers call for sensible pricing as En primeur draws closer

CasksWith just weeks to go until tasting of the 2013 vintages begin, voices from within the industry have highlighted the need for the Châteaux to learn their lesson from 2011 and 2012, and release their wines at the right price for the market. Alain Raynaud, president of the Grand Cercle de Bordeaux winemakers group, says the vintage may yet hold a few surprises for investors and drinkers alike, so long as the financials are correct: “If we are not too greedy and if we consider that we have to propose an attractive price, it will be a good opportunity.” Click here for the full article:
