US Bordeaux auction underlines market recovery

Hart Davis Hart, one of the leading fine wine auctioneers in the USA, hailed a Bordeaux only auction in Chicago last week as a roaring success after selling all its lots and raising over $5 million in the process. Their decision was vindicated and serves as a reminder of Bordeaux’s ongoing revival and the surge in fine wine buying in the USA. Their CEO claimed that the USA was the world’s leading auction market as a consequence, which may be disputed by Hong Kong.
