Liv-ex has reported that its Champagne 50 index is the top performing regional index in July 2021, up 2.78%, taking it to 13.15% growth since this time last year. The top Champagne movers in July were Louis Roederer Cristal 2009 which saw 10.3% growth in its trade price in the month, Dom Perignon 2009 rose 9.8% and Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill 2008 up 6.0%.
However, Rosé Champagnes are the on-trend bubbly investment in 2021 and the top performing label this month was Dom Perignon Rose 2004, rising 12%. Pink Fizz is the gold medal winner this year, seeing increased levels of trade on Liv-ex and delivering impressive returns to investors.
