Vin-X is delighted to announce that former Captain of England and Harlequins RFC, Chris Robshaw, has joined the team. Chris will head up our Sport & Entertainment division, with a specific focus on assisting sports, media and entertainment professionals to get involved with fine wine.

As soon as we knew that he was already a wine collector with a thirst for more knowledge, combined with his professional approach to everything he turns his mind to, we knew he was our man."
As a former Chairman of the British Bobsleigh Association I've built strong ties within the professional rugby and cricket communities over the years. Throughout our 12-year trading history we have instinctively sought opportunities to combine our passions for wine and sport.
This drive led to Austin Healey, former England Rugby international being a Non-Executive Director of Vin-X, ex-England cricketers Matthew Hoggard and Gladstone Small being Vin-X ambassadors and our support of charity projects with Lawrence Dallaglio and the Professional Cricketers Association. A key highlight in 2022 was our shirt sponsorship of the world-famous Barbarians Rugby team.
Since 2018, Vin-X has enjoyed a partnership with The Sporting Club which has broadened our involvement with professional athletes in various sports with whom we have developed strong relationships.

In the short-term Chris will be working closely with Jamie Shakeshaft, Director, Head of Procurement for Vin-X, going through a rigorous learning journey about the fine wine market and what makes wine a worthwhile alternative asset.
Over the next few months, Chris and Jamie will be hosting a series of great events to raise awareness of wine investment. These will include visits to world-famous Bordeaux chateaux, wine-tastings at our Vin-X Tasting Cellars and some great sporting events with wine – more details coming soon.
