About There is no doubt that Château Clinet has always had great terroir and potential but the problem would seem to be that down the years it has sometimes lacked the stability to achieve its goals. When the estate was split in the late 19th century it took a further century for two successive saviours to rescue it. Still the wait has been worth it and there are, no doubt, great vintages still to be produced.
