About | Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou is one of the 15 Second Growth producers of the 1855 Bordeaux classification and has been owned by the Borie family since 1941, along with Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste and Chateau Batailley. The Chateau’s vineyards extend to 50 hectares and its signature terroir is comprised of a distinctive gravel of larger stones for which the estate is believed to be named (‘beaucaillou’ means ‘beautiful stones’). |
